Costières de Nîmes - white - 2008 Located at the top of the Costières de Nîmes region, the vineyard is south facing and benefits from constant sunshine. The Costières soil is made of Rhône rocky alluviums, better known as brownstone, and similar to the Cote du Rhône terraces. It mainly contains round flat stones of varying sizes (pebbles), with a constant mineralogical constitution.
 | 85 % Roussanne / 15 % White Grenache | | After the grapes are selected, the harvest is sorted, the clusters are removed from the grapes, and the traditional wine making process begins. | | A characteristic of this vintage is its 24 hour maceration, which encourages the many taste precursors of aromas contained in the thin skin of the wine. This wine has a beautiful roundness, a great richness in alcohol and a quite pronounced acidity that reminds of the mineral table. It should be drunk within the first few years with seafood and shellfish which are not too salty.
| | This wine should be served very cool (10-12°C) to show off its full potential. To appreciate the full palette of aromas and fruits, you should consume this wine within the first two years following harvest. |
